Scavenging the Internet

 Recently for an in-class assignment, we were asked with a partner and a handout to go with it to do an internet scavenger hunt. At first, I didn't know what to expect in a sense but I think that is a good thing because I expect the unexpected. We had a worksheet handed to us and had until 10:45am to find as many things on that worksheet as we could. Me and my partner split up the question in the second half but we did do some of the questions together.  Although, some of the questions that we were asked to look up, first I was thinking how in the world am I going to find this on the internet? Does that exist? is that even a thing? To answer your question yes it is and I was quite surprised that all these kinds of things are around on the Internet.

Now what did I think of the scavenger hunt overall? the answer to that question would have to be I found it very interesting and informative to do this. It helps all of us in this world to understand the internet is so powerful and very broad. It holds a lot that we want to find, what we don't wanna find, and what we never thought we could search for. The internet holds so much information all of us didn't know it had and searching has no limits. You can find a lot of things whether online shopping, buying a house, looking yourself up on the web, collaborations on songs, and planning trips to places for families. Overall, I thought it was a pretty crazy assignment and I would love to do one another time. 

Did I learn anything when doing this? That answer would have to be yes I did learn. What I learned, I typed in the first paragraph the internet is crazy smart, and so much is available at our fingertips we didn't even know. I have to agree I didn't think there was that much on the internet like I did but I didn't. I needed this class and this in-class activity to help me understand that and make it known to me. When the worksheet was first handed to me and I was looking at all the questions and I was saying to myself there is no way I am finding any of this on the internet and it is definitely not going to show up but boy did that prove me wrong I found quite a lot of those questions and they showed up and that just blew my mind.  

If anyone else takes this class be prepared to have your mind blown in a good smart sense.
