What could Machine Learning and A.I take over now

 When learning about A. I and machine learning is a fascinating topic. That is because A. I am on the pathway of taking over everything or somehow taking over some of the world. I know that is scary to a lot of people. People just don't believe in it well they better start thinking. The one thing people should be afraid of is the idea of A. I and Machine learning. Those are taking over the regular jobs that people have now and could get wiped away because of a robot or something smarter in their place. 

The question for this blog post was Think about ML and AI. Can you imagine how it might disrupt in a similar fashion? What positions in society might shrink in number and what combination of technologies might create new opportunities.

The answer to that question would have to be, that transportation like buses, Ubers, and taxis are now replacing drivers to help the human population get around. An example is the Waymo a self-driving car that can take people around and get them to their destinations. That company will only get bigger and produce self-driving cars all over the world.
 
Other jobs include manufacturing and warehouse work. I am thinking of an Amazon warehouse where employees pack packages and send them off to all the places that they need to be shipped to. But robots and Machine Learning are starting to make it easier. Robots that have a machine hand that packs the packages much later than a human would shrink warehouse jobs or possibly diminish them altogether.

The other combination of technologies that might create new opportunities would be A. I in education, I think this is an interesting one to think about because I am imagining a robot teaching a class but something like that but not exactly. What I am thinking is A. I and machine learning can help all kids with different learning styles and cater to those who might not learn as fast as other kids in their class. Teachers on the other hand can shift to mentorship, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

In the end, AI and Machine learning might shrink a lot of job positions for people all around the world but there are ways to go around it. If you think about it there are a lot of job fields that could probably use a robot but also still have people involved in some type of way which is great. Other job sectors on the other hand might lose workers altogether. The key for all the people wondering is to be adaptive to what the future holds with artificial intelligence and machine learning. That is because it can turn out to be the best thing or the worst thing for the rest of the world when both things are changing society for good.

Scavenging the Internet

 Recently for an in-class assignment, we were asked with a partner and a handout to go with it to do an internet scavenger hunt. At first, I didn't know what to expect in a sense but I think that is a good thing because I expect the unexpected. We had a worksheet handed to us and had until 10:45am to find as many things on that worksheet as we could. Me and my partner split up the question in the second half but we did do some of the questions together.  Although, some of the questions that we were asked to look up, first I was thinking how in the world am I going to find this on the internet? What is A.I Up To

In this world whether we like it or not everything is starting to be turned into a playground for technological companies and new advancements to make life living a little easier. Whether it is another Tesla Car being introduced to the world, robots being unveiled, or a new phone to the market consumers like us make it our new obsession because of all the hot new features.
