Creating an HTML
For class this week we got handed an assignment to create a simple HTML. If you don't know what HTML stands for it means hypertext markup link. As a class, we learned that this would be a type of container because it contains something to be pasted somewhere. It is also important because it is the coding language that makes web pages. Going into this assignment, I am not into computers and I don't know how the main complicated computer stuff works so I knew this was going to be a somewhat nightmare to get this started for me. But one thing about me is that I am pretty good at reading instructions and trying to understand how something works. So, I think that is somewhat of a great start!
Also, this was discussed in class on how to do a simple HTML and it was said that I could easily post what was written on the board into a text document and it would work. Unfortunately, after a while looking at the worksheet that was passed out in class, it didn't seem to be a completed document and it was hard to follow in some type of form.
What I can write with my attempt over and over to fix what needed to be fixed, and looking back at what was on the board my HTML didn't work and I was unsuccessful. Realizing that this is a whole assignment was in some way a trial and error process. Nothing was going to work on the first try I had to accept it. I was fine with that. Also, I looked at all the minor code stuff just making sure I put everything in right. Unfortunately, nothing came up the way I wanted and I was getting super frustrated about it. I tried over and over. What I have to officially say is that my HTML trial was an error. The good thing is, I tried it out and that is all that matters.
I have to write that this was a fun experience being able to try something new that I wouldn't have tried if I hadn't taken this class in the first place for my last quarter here at UWT.
